Pizza is a food that I love and is quite contentious!  If you ask 10 people what their favorite pizza place is then it is possible you will get 10 different answers.  In Greenville one of my favorite pizza places is D’Allesandro’s pizza.  There are certainly other excellent pizza joints in town but D’Allesandros really ticks all of the right boxes for me. When you arrive at the restaurant there is an outdoor seating area that has been enclosed that you will need to walk through to reach the hostess stand. Note: D’Alls hours are a bit odd and change from time to time so check their website and call before going to make sure they are open.

The hostess will seat you at a table or booth depending on what is available.  If the weather is nice outside then you can eat on the patio and there are areas where kids can play.  Be prepared to see lots of families and kids at night during the week.  This is a fairly laid back place so I wouldn’t expect fast service.  But if you come in with a laid back attitude then it is nice to just kick back and enjoy the smell of pizza baking with a good drink.

First the appetizers and other non-pizza options.  They make some amazing garlic bread that I highly recommend trying.  There are two options, one that is just plain cheese and one with garlic cheese.  Both are amazing and you won’t be disappointed.  They will ask you if you want a half or whole.  A half is a round piece of cheese bread cut into 6 pieces and is maybe 6 or 7 inches across.  They come with dipping marinara.  A tasty appetizer for sure.  They offer salads if someone in your party isn’t feeling pizza and the salads are quite tasty though nowhere near as good as the pizza in my opinion.

Now on to the Pizza!  D’Alls pizzas are all thin crust in the style of New York pizzas and they really have the dough and crust dialed in so it is nice and crispy with excellent flavor.  Their sauce is on point and they offer multiple types of pizza with various toppings. I enjoy their supreme pizza which has a mix of vegetables and meats.  The sausage is especially good and is sourced locally from Revival Butchery which is another one of my favorite places.  They use good cheese and the overall pizza experience is excellent and one of the best in town.

The vibe of the restaurant is relaxed and enjoyable with special events some nights.  They used to run a bingo night on Thursday nights where a dj would play songs that would be listed on the bingo sheet.  It was fun and enhanced an already enjoyable experience.  Definitely check with the restaurant to see what the latest activities are.  The overall experience at D’Alls is excellent so give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Average Price for 2 People: $40 USD Tipping:

Tipping is available when you pay by card or you can leave cash on the table.  Servers take your order, bring you the food, keep your drinks filled, and clean the table after you leave.  Tipping 20-25% depending on service is acceptable.

Greenville, SC 29609 Access: Parking out front of the restaurant and to the left in a fenced area.  Depending on the time of day you go there might be spots open to the left in front of businesses that are closed in the evening.  Check out the office hours of the chiropractic office right next door to the restaurant.  They have such weird hours that it always makes me laugh when I see it.
